Mattel set to Reveal New WWE Figures at San Diego Comic Con

Mattel is preparing to reveal it’s latest WWE Figures at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this week. A huge amount of product is set to be shown for the first time.

Join us from July 19-21, for coverage as Mattel announces the new products. Mattel and WWE Superstars will be attending to reveal the latest WWE Figures which will be released.

On Thursday, July 19 at 11:15 a.m. PT, (18:15 PM GMT) the action kicks off with WWE and Mattel for a panel featuring Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins and Cathy Kelley of the Elite Squad — an assemblage of toy aficionados dedicated to providing the WWE Universe with the hottest reveals and amazing prize opportunities all this year. Joining them will be one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy, Mattel designers and perhaps a mystery guest or two!?

SDCC is a big deal, it is the number one comic book and pop culture convention in the world. It’s approximately 2 hours drive south of Mattel’s headquarters, so the location is ideal also.

San Diego Comic Con has been an annual event since 1970 and attracts upwards of 130,000 attendees over a weekend period in July. The latest iteration takes place this week from July 19, where Mattel is expected to reveal a host of new WWE product.

It was at the annual San Diego Comic Con in July 2016, often referred to by attendees and online communities as “SDCC” where Mattel first showcased the inaugural series of WWE Retros.

What to expect?

We expect further sets of every Mattel WWE series to be revealed and displayed including Basics, Elites and Retros. Once they are officially announced, we will reveal them here and later in our coming soon section of the shop.
